Switching to 800 x 600 resolution
Step 1: Click your start button
Step 2: Select Settings
Step 3: Select Control Panel
Step 4: Click on Display
(or right click on your desktop and select properties.)
Step 5: Click on the Settings Tab at the top of the Display Properties Window
-Now you should see a picture of your monitor
Step 6: See the small siding bar that has the title Screen area above it. Move the slide bar until the words next to it change. You should have the options of three different pixel sets. Move the bar until it displays 800 by 600. ( if you still don't know what I mean contact your nearest teenager.)
(Most computers will have six tabs in this window background, screen saver, appearences, effects, web and settings. If your computer has other tabs such as plug and play monitor settings, then click on those tabs and repeat Step 6.)
Step 7: Click ok and close all the windows you have opend up to perform this operation.
*Read this* go back to our site and look around using the link below. Make sure the site looks ok and if not see step 1 or the bottom of step 6. To change it back to your old setting, if you didn't enjoy the new one simply follow the steps again, but use the slide bar to get your old setting back.
